: No. If you already have training in culinary arts, and you are already in the industry, your best move is to work hard and advance within your industry. For you, now, it's all about on-the-job training.

Make sure the chefs and managers in your job know that you want to become a chef. Ask them to get you involved in the food prep side of things, if that's not what you're already doing for a job.

If it's impossible to move up where you are, then consider finding a job, ideally doing food prep, for the best restaurant in your region. Work your way up from there.
